Alice Whiteside is the CALA (Carolina Academic Library Associate) in the Sloane Art Library. A graduate of Bard College, she comes to UNC with an B.A. in Art History. In 2008 she was elected President of AMLISS, the Art and Museum Library and Information Student Society of SILS (School of Information and Library Science) at UNC. She volunteers at the Ackland Art Museum in the docent program, which she has been involved in since September 2007. Alice's goal is a career in art librarianship.
