Sloane Art Library: Accessibility

The Sloane Art Library is committed to providing access to its collections, resources, and services to all library users, including people with physical and learning disabilities. If you require special assistance, please feel free to contact our library staff at (919) 962-2397.

Parking and Building Access

Visitors displaying an official state-issued disability designation may park in the spaces reserved for those with such permits. There are two of these spaces in front of the Hanes Art Center. Please note that these permits do not allow parking in the UNC Disability Permit parking spots.

Curbside access with an automatic door is available at the east entrance of the Hanes Art Center, from the visitor parking lot, accessible via Cameron Avenue. From this entrance, go left, follow the hallway to the main entrance, go right through the set of double doors. You will see the front windows to the library. Go left, the entrance to the library is on the right, Room 102.

There is an elevator in the Sloane Art Library that provides access to the second floor of the collection.
