Encyclopedias & Dictionaries:The encyclopedias included in this guide are either general art history reference works or they are focused more specifically on Native American art. Most of the dictionaries included are biographical in nature and contain information on Native American artists, most contemporary. A great place to start research is the Grove Dictionary of Art.
