		<description><![CDATA[Wonderful blog!  My favorite card catalog was that in the Biblioteca Marciana in Venice. I found what I was looking for, handwritten in spidery script.  It may have made it to their online catalog eventually, but not then.  It always made me sad as a librarian that we used the old cards as scrap, but then there was always the serendipity we enjoyed as a result.  (from former Sloane Art Librarian)]]></description>
