I took my two children to the Land of OZ in 1972. We found the whole experience to be fantastic. The only negative time was when we walked out of Dorothy’s house after the tornado and saw the legs of the wicked witch sticking out from underneath the house….my 5 year-old daughter let out a blood curdling scream which I’m sure was heard over the entire park. I realize there is no comparison to the theme parks today but the memories of that visit will stay with me forever.
