i am doing a Black History project on Charlie Scott and a am very excited by doing this project
I’m very proud of Charlie’s achievements. I attended Laurinburg Institute with Charlie Scott. He graduated 1965 with my sister Cheryl Council. He was a star long before he attended UNC. I remember when Dean Smith came to Laurinburg to recruit Charlie. A little know fact about Charlie’s scholastic abilities. He scored a perfect score on the SAT’s in his Junior year at Laurinburg.
