I am from the UK and visited the USA recently; I went to Wilmington, Highlands, Durham, Raleigh, and we camped out in the Great Smoky Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains (my favorite!) as well as many other mountain ranges. My wife and I really enjoyed the trip, particularly the fact that we were in the birthplace of modern aviation! It’s quite amazing to see NC from so long ago, especially when you have been there in the present day.
