You may already know this, but Juliana (born Julia) Royster married Jacques (born James) Busbee. Both were Raleighites and loved the arts ands , both and they became major influences in arts and crafts in NC, especially in the development of art pottery. She had a tea room in Greenwich Village. They are best known for establishing in about 1917 the present Jugtown Pottery and working with local potter Ben Owen, who was not only talented but willing to incorporate the Asian design influences the Busbees admired.
Nice to know that Miss Juliana was a phtographer, too. There is lots more known about the Busbees; this is just from the Guide to the Historic Architcture of Piedmont North Carolina.
I wonder who the people in the car are including the lady with the fine hat.
