		<description><![CDATA[The Salisbury Post has a great article about the train stopping to change crews in Salisbury. 

The Spencer Lions Club asked one of the gaurds if its members could place a wreath on Roosevelt&#039;s casket. Mrs. Roosevelt said that they could.

When I was local history librarian in Salisbury a few years ago, I had the pleasure of retrieving a box of materials from a gentleman&#039;s home. In it, was the black-bordered thank you note from the White House for that wreath. 

I also had the pleasure of meeting the man who was the brakeman on the funeral train. He still lived in Salisbury at the time.]]></description>
