We’re sorry that you’re having a problem opening the files. We’re currently experiencing a problem with the software that allows us to display these pages. Fortunately there’s a solution. If you click on “Download” at the top right of the screen for the Sept. 6, 1911 edition of the Charlotte News (the page to which you’re taken when clicking on the image above), you’ll be able to download a PDF of the entire edition of that day’s paper.

We’re hoping to have our display software fixed soon.
