While Tyler Vance is in the drive-through for his local bank one day, a fleeing bank robber points a gun at him and demands he hand over his truck. Author Clay Harvey, like main character Vance, lives in North Carolina and writes articles and books about guns. A Flash of Red is the first book in Harvey’s series about Vance.
