Library Schedules for Friday, Jan. 25 and Saturday, Jan. 26

No campus libraries have reported late openings today. Schedule changes may still be reported and will be posted here.

To be sure that the library you intend to visit is open, we recommend that you contact the library before coming to campus.

Some UNC campus libraries will close early on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, due to adverse weather conditions.

Davis Library will close at 6 p.m.
The Law Library will close at 2 p.m.
The Information and Library Science Library will close at 5:30 p.m.
The School of Government Library will close at 3:30 p.m.
The Stone Center Library will close at 2 p.m.
The Music Library will close at 4:45 p.m.

Please note that changing conditions may cause other libraries to alter their schedules or to open late on Saturday. To verify the hours of a specific UNC library, please contact the library directly.

Library User Survey to Take Place During 2010

The University will be conducting surveys of library users every month during 2010. The surveys will take place in some campus libraries and also online when users connect to library resources.

The in-person survey will take place each month during 2010 in Davis Library, Wilson Library, and the Health Sciences Library for one randomly selected two-hour period, and in the campus science libraries for two randomly selected two-hour periods. An online version of the survey concerning use of library electronic resources will take place each month during 2010 for randomly selected periods of two hours.

Completing the survey will take only a couple of minutes. The results will help the University understand how the Library is being used to support the University’s mission objectives of instruction/education, research and public service.
