Brauer Library - Services

Photocopying

The Library has one photocopier for public use, which is located in the Level One Journal Stacks. It accepts UNC OneCards, Guest Photocopy Cards, and dollar bills and change (quarters, dimes and nickels). Guest Photocopy Cards are available for purchase at Davis Library. Patrons may add money to their UNC OneCard at Tar Heel Tellers located in Davis Library, the Health Sciences Library, and the Undergraduate Library. Copies cost 14 cents each using a UNC OneCard and 25 cents each using cash.

Internet Access

The Library has nine computers available for use by our patrons. They all contain a number of Internet applications which may be used to access the online catalog as well as do web-related research. One computer is set up to provide access to the library's CD-ROMs.

These computers may be used recreationally to check your e-mail or surf the web. However, in the event of heavy demand, patrons should limit their use to 30 minutes. Use of the computers will be given the following priorities:

(1) Patrons accessing the online catalog.
(2) Patrons requiring use of the machines for academic purposes.
(3) All other use.
Note: Computers are not attached to a public printer.
