outside of US
Currently two national projects are in place
to faciliate UNC users to request copies of reports, journal articles,
and other materials published in China and Japan that the library
does not hold.

This service, hosted by the University
of Pittsburgh Library, focuses on free delivery of full-text
Chinese-language academic publications to any researcher who
cannot find the needed item in any U.S. libraries. Please
use the online Request
Form to send your request to the Gateway Service Center.

This is the document delivery initiative
between North American and Japanese libraries, using the ISO
ILL Protocol for communication of ILL (Interlibrary Loan)
requests. Requests are currently limited to non-returnables
(photocopy requests). There is no limit on the type of material
from which to request photocopies. Please submit requests
