Graduate students and researchers at UNC-Chapel Hill benefit enormously from the Library's membership in the Center for Research Libraries in Chicago. The CRL purchases materials, particularly microform sets, back runs of newspapers and periodicals, and foreign dissertations. The Center makes its materials available to researchers at member institutions on indefinite loan. Request for a loan must be submitted to InterLibrary Loan (ILL).
