Special Projects:
- Documenting the American South. Pilot library project to OCR scan nineteenth century books about slavery. This endeavor will become part of a larger library project to digitize books about the American South printed between 1820 and 1920. The library project is part of a networked multimedia Southern Americana Database supported by the Academic Affairs Library and, initially, the Office of Information Technology and IBM.
