Below is a list of the types of notices and receipts.
Overdue and Fine Notices:
Overdue and fine notices are sent as a courtesy reminder. Failure to receive a notice
or receiving notices late does not absolve the borrower from responsibility
to return material or to pay overdue fines. If you are changing addresses,
it is up to you to take the proper steps to ensure the Davis Library has
your updated information.
Recall Notices and Pickup Requests:
Recall notices are sent to patrons requesting the return of library materials.
Pickup Requests are sent to patrons to notify them to pickup their request.
All pickup requests and recall noticies should be adhered to with the utmost
discretion.
Return Receipts:
Upon request, the Library will provide a receipt of return at the time that
books are returned to the Circulation Desk.
Fine Receipts:
The staff member must write a receipt for all money taken.
Please request receipts at the Permits and Fines
window of the Circulation Desk.
Materials Printouts:
Patrons can view and print and list of book(s) they have checked out in
Borrower's Self Services. Patrons
may also ask for a printout of their current holdings.
