Davis Circulation-Group Study Policies

Policy & Procedures

Reservations are made on a first-call, first-serve basis.
Reservations for a group study can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Block booking of the small group studies is not permitted.
Studies are reserved in 4 hour time slots with keys checked out to the reserving patron at the Circulation Desk at the scheduled reservation time.
No renewal of studies permitted (to ensure maximum use and availability of studies to all users).
Patron checking out the key is responsible for returning key and for any delinquency or other problems arising from use of key.
Studies are subject to fines: Late charges are $15.00 for every hour a key is overdue with no maximum fine. A lost key charge is $100.00
Studies not reserved will be assigned to patrons on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Things to Remember

Groups always have priority when using studies.
No food or drink permitted in studies.
No smoking in studies.
Windows to studies may not be covered at any time.
Lights in studies must be turned on at all times.
