LexisNexis Academic
Provides full-text access to general, regional and international news, company news and financial information, legal information (including law reviews, case law and legal rulings). Many of the files are full-text.

Academic Search Premier
Covers popular and scholarly journal articles with many full-text articles. Academic Search Premier provides information from a wide range of academic areas including business, social sciences, humanities, general academic, general science, education and multi-cultural topics.

CQ Researcher
A place to begin research on current topics. It covers the most current and controversial issues of the day with complete summaries, insight into all sides of the issues, bibliographies and more. The international version of this database is CQ Global Researcher

ISI Citation Databases (Web of Science)
May search by author name, words in journal title, abstract, keywords and cited author. Links are then provided to articles that cite the source you are checking - a good way to extend your research. Links to full text are provided where available, and can be accessed by clicking on the "Find @ UNC" icon.

This database provides abstracts of journal articles, conference papers, dissertations, and other publications dealing with sociology and related disciplines. Approximately 2500 journals in 30 different languages from about 55 countries are scanned for inclusion, covering sociological topics in fields such as anthropology, economics, education, medicine, community development, philosophy, demography, political science, and social psychology.
