Sections
This tutorial includes the following sections:

- The Navigating section explains how to recognize web addresses, go to specfic web pages, and follow links on the web.
- The Search Engines section explains how to use search engines to find information on the World Wide Web.
- The Web Skills section provides instructions for a number of tasks that will prove helpful when you are navigating the web.
- The Web Safety section provides a brief overview of personal and virus safety related to the web.
There are also a few helpful pages that you can access at the bottom of each page in this tutorial (click on the blue, underlined words to access them):
- The About This Tutorial section explains the purpose of the tutorial and information about the program which it is designed to supplement.
- The Site Map can help you see where you are in the tutorial, and can help you locate other pages in the tutorial.
- The Glossary provides a list of terms that are frequently used in this tutorial, as well as some additional terms you might encounter as you begin to use the web.
- The Resources guide provides a list of resources, both in print and on the web itself, that can help you learn more about using the World Wide Web.
