Web pages and web sites are located at specific "addresses" on the World Wide Web. Another name for a web address is a URL (Uniform Resource Locator). The URL or web address tells you where on the World Wide Web a specific page or site is located. This makes things a lot easier when you need to go back to a certain web page.
