Web Browsers | Introduction
A web browser is a tool that allows you to see and navigate the Web. Two of the most common web browsers available today are Internet Explorer (sometimes abbreviated IE) and Mozilla Firefox. (Macintosh computers' default web browser is called Safari.)
All of the examples in this tutorial feature Internet Explorer, the browser that comes standard with all computers running Microsoft Windows. All web browsers are similar, however, so once you know how to use one, you'll be ready to use them all!
