The Address Bar

The Address Bar is a white box located within the Navigation Bar. It displays the web address of the page you're viewing. Just like a street address, this describes your location on the web. Right now the address bar on your screen should say:

http://www.lib.unc.edu/cws/cws_tutorials/web/browsers.html?page=addressbar

You'll learn more about web addresses later in the tutorial.
