The Title Bar

At the very top of the window is the Title Bar. This displays the title of the web page you're viewing. The title bar of this window tells me that I'm viewing the Community Workshop Series Web Basics Tutorial.

The Menu Bar

Right below the title bar is the Menu Bar. In Internet Explorer, the different menus available are File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools and Help. To see one of the menus on the menu bar, follow these steps:

  1. Slide your mouse over one of the menu options (File, Edit, View, etc.).
  2. Click the left mouse button once on a menu option. A menu will slide down.
  3. The items listed under each menu are different functions available to you in the web browser. You can practice clicking on some of these to see what they do.
