Laptops can be borrowed from Davis Library's Circulation desk. Laptops are for Building Use Only. They can not leave Davis Library.

Borrowers Requirements
Anyone interested in borrowing a laptop must be a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student or a faculty or staff member with a Valid UNC One Card.

Loan Periods and Hours of Program
Laptops may be borrowed for three-hour periods and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They may be renewed. The library will not hold laptops for users. All laptops are due back one (1) hour before the library closes. Laptops will stop circulating two (2) hours before the library closes. (Davis Library Hours)

Overdue Fines and Replacement/Damage Charges
Laptops accrue fines at the rate of $7.50 per 15 minutes and $30.00 per hour overdue. There is no grace period and no maximum fine. There is a replacement charge plus a processing fee for damage to or the loss of the laptop or the peripherals issued up to a maximum of $4,000.
