The Bowman Collection of World War I Postcards uses Google Analytics to collect and analyze information about how the website is used. Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable Google to capture information about each user session. The information gathered through Google Analytics allows the Postcards staff to see how the website is being used, providing important information that staff members are able to use to optimize the site so that it is helpful and accessible to all users.

Users can disable cookies on their web browsers if they do not wish to have information about their use of the site captured by Google. If cookies are turned off, Postcards will still work as designed.
