Axiom is the Institute of Physics Publishing's Web-based online research service. It currently features Inspec, Compendex, PageOne, Derwent World Patents Index, Polymer Library (formerly Rapra Abstracts), and PageOne databases.

To subscribe to email alerting, go to the main Axiom page at axiom.iop.org

1. Make sure to check the "Personalization" box in order to receive email alerts, and then click on "create username and password". Follow the directions to fill out your profile. Once you have clicked on "Create personalized account" you will be prompted to enter Axiom. Please do so.
2. Once you have entered Axiom, please click on the tab labeled "Personalize" and then on the one labeled "Alerts."



3. Follow the directions to set up a search – results that match these criteria will be sent to you via email.
