The National Academies Press (NAP) e-mail service makes it easy to find out about new titles as they are published. NAP offers free full-text access to more than 3,000 books published since the late 1990s.

Sign up for the subject categories that interest you and they will send you e-mail notices of books in those topic areas as they are released.

1. To sign up for email alerts, please go to the National Academies Press homepage at www.nap.edu Under the "Quick Links" menu on the left side you will see a link for "Email Updates." Please click on this link.



2. Under the heading "New Customers," please click to "Sign up to receive NAP email updates."



3. You will enter your email address and then select the categories in which you are interested.
4. Once you have selected the categories, please click the "submit" button. You will NOT receive confirmation that your information has been accepted. However, if you log back on with the same email address, you will see your choices are still selected. You may change your preferences by logging in and changing your selections.
