Faculty Studies in Davis Library Faculty Studies in Davis Library

Davis Library offers carrels and studies to UNC faculty and graduate students and visiting scholars who need to use its collections. Davis Library’s Circulation Department assigns these spaces for research purposes only; they are not to supplement or replace offices. Faculty, graduate students, and visiting scholars generally may renew use of the spaces so long as they have research needs requiring ongoing use of Davis Library collections and make active use of these studies and carrels. Each study and carrel has internet connections. Circulating books can be checked out to studies and carrels for unlimited periods, subject to recall after one month if needed by other patrons. The Davis Library Circulation Department page has more specific information on these studies and carrels, criteria for assigning them, and conditions of use.
