UNC Students, Faculty, and Staff

University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill faculty, staff, and students must present a valid UNC One Card or UNC-Chapel Hill hospital badge in order to borrow materials from the campus libraries.

Non-UNC Library Users

Non-affiliated users have several options for borrowing materials. North Carolina residents may apply for a borrower's card at Davis Library, the Health Sciences Library, and the Law Library. The cost of the card is $25, with a $5 fee for replacing lost cards. The fee is waived for members of the General Alumni Association and Friends of the Library.

Faculty, students and staff from TRLN and other UNC System universities may use their ID cards to check out materials from campus libraries. Please visit the Davis Library Circulation desk to activate your card for campus use before checking out materials at the campus libraries.
