How Do I Donate Materials to the Library?
The University Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill welcomes donations of materials (gifts-in-kind) for the general collections
that fall within the scope of the Library's current collecting priorities in support of the University's teaching and research mission.
The types of gifts material most desirable for the Library's collections are relevant works not already held by the Library. All material should be
in good condition - clean and odor free, with durable bindings, and no brittle, stained, marked, or discolored pages.
The Library reserves the right to decline material and to determine retention, cataloging treatment, location, and terms of use for the material accepted.

To make donations to the general library collections, please contact Cynthia Baker, Gifts-in-Kind Specialist at Davis Library, at (919) 962-1120 for more information prior to your donation.
To donate material to the special collections in Wilson Library – the Manuscripts Department including its Southern Historical and Southern Folklife collections, the North Carolina Collection,
and the Rare Book Collection, please contact those collections directly or use the links below.
