How Do I Print And Photocopy In The Libraries?

Can I print from library work stations and library provided laptops?

All library workstations and circulating laptops are able to print to the Campus Computing Initiative(CCI) print queue. Machines available for public use are able to print to the guest printer in Davis Library.

Am I able to print from my laptop?

All Campus Computing Initiative(CCI) laptops should be preset to print to the library's networked printers. If you have a non-CCI laptop, follow the instructions to set up CCI printing.

Where can I use my printing account?

All full-time students begin the semester with a $40 printing account. Students may print from this account in any ITS Printing Lab.

Does the library have a color printer?

The Undergraduate Library has the only color printer that accepts Campus Computing Initiative funds. There is no publicly accessible color printer.

Where can I photocopy material?

Photocopiers are available in most libraries and accept UNC One Cards, University Guest Cards, and Departmental Cards for payment. Copiers in some locations also accept coins and bills. Copies are 14 cents with a card and 25 cents with cash. Guest Cards can be purchased for $1.00 and money added to other cards at the Tar Heel Teller machines in Davis Library, the Undergraduate Library, the Health Sciences Library, and the Law Library.
