How Do I Use Library Resources From Off Campus?

Some resources, such as the Library's Online Catalog, are freely available in the libraries, across the UNC Chapel Hill campus, and from off-campus as well. Most of the Library's electronic databases and journals also are available in the libraries and anywhere on campus but, due to strict licensing agreements, are available off-campus only to current UNC students, faculty, and staff.

When you access an online resource from off-campus, you will be asked to identify yourself as a UNC student, faculty or staff and to enter your Onyen and the password associated with it. If you do not know your Onyen, you can look it up on the Onyen Management page.
