How Do I Use Library Resources From Off Campus?

Some resources, such as the Library's Online Catalog, are freely available in the libraries, across the UNC Chapel Hill campus, and from off-campus as well. Most of the Library's electronic databases and journals also are available in the libraries and anywhere on campus but, due to strict licensing agreements, are available off-campus only to current UNC students, faculty, and staff.

When you access an online resource from off-campus, you will be asked to identify yourself as a UNC student, faculty or staff and to enter your Onyen. If you do not know your Onyen, you can look it up on the Onyen Management page.
