Who We Are
The Media Resources Center, part of the R.B. House Undergraduate Library, serves
the instructional and curricular needs of the University community and the individual study,
scholarship, cultural enrichment and recreation needs of UNC students and faculty.
Watch It Here
We provide in-house viewing & listening facilities with over 30 media stations & 3 screening rooms. Our media
stations support these formats: DVDs, VHS, CDs, LPs, Laser Discs, Mini-Discs, Audio Cassettes, Slides & 16mm film.
Identification (UNC OneCard, TRLN card, Duke or NCSU student ID, Town Borrowers Card) is required
for the use of all equipment or materials at the Media Resources Center.
Make It Here
The Digital Media Lab gives UNC-Chapel Hill students, faculty and staff access
to the latest in multimedia software and hardware. Our lab has eleven work stations, each
offering a wide range of video hardware and software.
The Digital Audio Lab has a G5 Apple PowerMac, 88-key weighted MIDI keyboard,
Nady condenser mics, MOTU audio interface and an Emagic Logic mixing board. Equipped with software
such as GarageBand, Logic and Bias Peak, the Digital Audio Lab allows everybody from the beginner to
the pro to create music from the ground up.

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS:
RESERVES
Need to find a film on reserve?
Find your reserve now!
INSTRUCTORS: Book your film online!
Need to book a film for class? Check out our online booking form. Fill out the form, send it in, and we'll book it. You get a nifty confirmation email, letting you know the film is available and booked for you. You can also request a screening room on the form, too. Isn't that swell?

Students: Suggest a Film!
Want to see something we don't have? Want a circulating copy of something we already have but it's library use only? Now's your chance to
get it. The Student Library Advisory Board has given us funds to insure that we get the movies you want. Come by the MRC and fill out the request form or tell us online here. All movies purchased are for the students and can not
be put on reserve or converted to library use only.
