Screening Room 1

Screening Rooms
Rooms 006, 205, and 207 in the Undergraduate Library are available for class viewings through the MRC. Reservations for the rooms can be made by course instructors in advance in person or via mrc@unc.edu. Please include your name, PID number, department, class, number of students, date and time. Note that food and beverages of any kind are not permitted in the screening rooms.

Room 006
• Maximum occupancy of 10
• 42" flat-panel plasma screen
• Supports VHS, DVD (Region 1), VCD, PAL, 16mm, slides, CD and audiocassette formats
• Room 205
• Maximum occupancy of 52 with tablet-arm chairs for notetaking
• Room 207
• Occupancy: 28 with classroom-style table seating

Rooms 205 and 207
• Supports VHS, DVD (Region 1), VCD, PAL, 16mm, slides, CD and audiocassette formats
• Windows 2000 PC
• Laptop connection
• Overhead projection system
• Surround Sound audio
• Instructor's Podium with touch screen interface.



Viewing Stations

In House Viewing
With 30 VCR/DVD equipped stations on the premises, you can watch any of our films or reserve materials here. The Media Resources Center also has CD, audiocassette and mini disc players available to patrons. None of our audio/visual equipment circulates. Proper identification (UNC OneCard, TRLN card, Duke or NCSU student ID, Town Borrowers Card) is required for the use of all equipment at the Media Resources Center. Please note, food and beverages of any type are not permitted in the MRC.
