Tips for Scheduling Library Instruction
undergradref online status - If you do not see an image, please reload
  1. Please complete the following form to request library instruction for English 100, 101 or 102: http://www.lib.unc.edu/instruct/schedule_engl.html. If you are teaching multiple sections of the same course, please fill out a form for each section. Email Suchi Mohanty at smohanty@email.unc.edu if you have any questions.
  2. Submit the form at least two weeks before your preferred date - the more notice we have, the more time we have to work with you to design a session that will meet the needs of your students.
  3. If you have scheduled your class for a library session but would like your students to have more time to search in the library with a librarian's assistance, just email Suchi or fill out an instruction request form. We can reserve time in the instruction lab for your students to work one-on-one with a librarian on their topics.
  4. If you have developed a new research assignment, you can work with a librarian to ensure that we have the resources your students will need. Contact Suchi for more information.
  5. The Media Resources Center provides access to digital video cameras and film editing software. If you or your students would like to learn how to use these resources, please contact Greg Klaiber at grogthecaveman@yahoo.com or 962-2559 to make an appointment.
