Ten group study rooms are available on the Upper Level of the R. B. House Undergraduate Library. These rooms are for course-related study for groups of three to eight people on a first come, first serve basis. Four of these study rooms may be reserved in advance to persons with a valid UNC One Card.
Each study room has a dry erase board. Additional marker kits are available for checkout at the Book Checkout desk on the Entry Level.
The Presentation Room (Room 211) may be reserved for group study and has flexible seating for up to 15 people. The room is equipped with laptop connections to a wall mounted wide-screen monitor and a podium. DVD and VHS players are also available for use in the room. To operate the equipment, a remote control is available for 3-hour checkout from the Book Checkout desk.
Ways to make a study room reservation:
A study room may be reserved for a period of up to 3-hours. The reservation must be made at least 3-hours or up to 2-weeks in advance. A second reservation may be made after the first advanced reservation has expired. Room reservations will be held for 15 minutes past the beginning of the reserved period.
