Evaluating Information will help you to evaluate the books, articles and websites you find in your research for qualities such as accuracy, relevance, currency and credibility.

Finding Health Information: A Path through the Maze will introduce you to the best places to start your research on health-related topics.

Information Ethics leads the user through the basics of copyright law, including fair use, plagiarism and the internet.

In addition, the House Undergraduate Library provides a useful "How Do I?" page, which covers subjects such as how to choose a database and how to get research help. Researchers may also want to take a look at UNC libraries' Research Guides, which can provide a jump start in areas such as social work, public policy and psychology.
