Finding Articles: Article Citations

If you do not see a direct link to the full text, you may see the "ArticleLinker" icon:

If you click on the icon, you will go to a page indicating whether the full text of the article is available in another database, through another electronic journal subscription, or whether it is available in print through the libraries.

At the top of the screen, you will see the citation information for the article you need. Below the citation, you will see one or more links, depending on whether the full text of the article is available and how it can be accessed.

• The "Article" link will take you directly to the full text of the article.

• The "Journal" link will take you to the journal where the article is published. From this point, you may need to "drill down" to the article using the volume, issue, and page numbers from the citation.

• The "Source" link will link you to the database or journal homepage where it may be necessary to search for the article using keywords from the title.

If you see the message "Sorry, no holdings were found for this journal." that indicates that the full text is not available electronically.
