Finding Articles: Journal Search

If you do not see the "ArticleLinker" icon, the electronic version of the full text may still be available through the UNC libraries.   You can check by searching the E-Journals tab.

e-journal search page

  1. Enter the title of the journal in which the article was published, such as Journal of the American Medical Association, and click the Search button.
  2. The E-Journal Finder will indicate if the journal you need is available electronically in another database or through an electronic journal subscription. Be sure to check the dates listed to see if they correspond to the date of the article you need.
  3. Depending on the source of the journal, you will either need to "drill down" to find the volume and issue you need, or search the database using keywords from the title of the article.

Please note: The subject list of journals is only a select list of journals. To search all of the journals available online, it is necessary to use either the search box or the alphabetical list.
