CIA World Factbook Provides an up-to-date overview of countries. Use the Select Country or Location drop-down menu to choose your assigned nation.

U.S. Department of State Select your nation from the A-Z Country List. Useful fact sheets can often be found under Background Notes.

Country Studies/Area Handbooks (Library of Congress) Use as a source of historical data, as opposed to current events.

The World Bank Select the Countries tab and choose your nation to learn about World Bank activity and research in that area.
