If a journal you are looking for is not owned by UNC Libraries, you can still access the article you want through interlibrary loan. Also referred to as "interlibrary borrowing," interlibrary loan is a library service that students, faculty, and staff can use to request books or photocopies of articles from other libraries.

This service is available via the web-based request form shown above.
- First-time users are asked to register by entering their name, department, address, and other information.
Expedited service is available in cooperation with Duke University, North Carolina Central University, and North Carolina State University. Requests that can be filled at one of these three universities take less time, about 2-4 working days. Other orders can take several weeks to fill, so it's a good idea to make your requests as early as possible.
