Web Browsers

As you just learned, a web browser is a tool that allows you to navigate the web. It displays information from the World Wide Web graphically on your computer screen. Two of the most common web browsers available today are Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. All of the examples in this tutorial feature Internet Explorer, the browser that comes standard with all computers running Microsoft Windows. All web browsers are similar, however, so once you know how to use one, you'll be ready to use them all!

In this section of the tutorial, you will learn how to "launch," or open a web browser. Then, you'll be introduced to the different parts of the web browser. When you're done with this section, you'll be ready to learn how to navigate the web!
