Using EndNote with EBSCO Databases

To import references from EBSCO Databases into EndNote, first perform a search in and EBSCO Database and then follow these steps:

1. Click on the Added icon in the right hand column for the references you would like to export.

2. When you have added all references, click on Folder has Items just above the list of results.

3. Click on Save to Disk.

4. The Save Manager Page will be displayed. Deselect HTML Full Text and HTML links to articles. Select which type of citation you wish to export: Brief Citation, Brief Citation and Abstract, or Detailed Citation and Abstract.

5. Click on the Bibliographic Manager tab.

6. Click on Direct Export to your bibliographic management software. The EndNote program should open and prompt you to select the library into which the reference will be imported. The references will then be imported into EndNote.
