To help determine how credible a source is, try to use the suggestions below.

You will need to consider the following about the author of the publication:

• Is the author an expert in this field?
• Where is the author employed?
• What else has he or she written?

For example: This article was published in the June 2002 issue of Advances in Nursing Science. The author's credentials are listed below the article's title.
