Evaluating Websites: Currency

The issue of currency is important when evaluating factual information. It is important to note the date a document was created and updated, as the accuracy of the information contained in it may change with time. Remember these suggestions as you evaluate a page:

If you are using a web page and no date is provided, you should:.
(A) Ignore the page and move on to your next result.
(B) Use it anyway if it looks nice.
(C) Look for clues to help you date the information and then decide if it is a reliable source
