There are several ways in which copyright
law might affect you as a student here at UNC-Chapel Hill:
- You could be found liable for infringing copyright
- Under Fair Use, limited use of copyrighted materials for some
purposes may be excused.
- Your work done here at UNC may be protected by copyright,
and it is important to understand your rights.
Knowing how copyright applies to you will help you recognize how it applies
to other creative works, and prevent you from infringing upon another's
copyright.
