There are resources beyond UNC while you attend school here. The local communities have public libraries open to local residents. At most libraries, to get a library card, you will need to show identification (a passport or driver's license) and proof of a local mailing address.
Most public libraries have a collection of fiction and non-fiction for children and adults. The Chapel Hill and Carrboro Branch Libraries also have special programs for children, including storytime.
