The Microforms Collection is located on the second floor of Davis Library. It includes material of interest to Latin Americanists, such as copies of medieval and modern manuscripts, literary works, diplomatic records from the United States Department of State Decimal Files, dissertations, journals, and newspapers.
UNC-Chapel Hill's Latin American & Iberian Resources webpage has a searchable Microforms Database accompanied by browsable subject headings. The Library Catalog also includes microforms holdings. If you want to look at older newspapers, such as those dating back to the 19th century, you will need to search the microforms database, or browse UNC's Microforms Newspaper List for title and holdings information.
For information about microform collections at other southeast institutions, consult the LASER Microform Sets Union List. Also consider the Latin American Microform Project (LAMP), which has 42 institutional members and is sponsored by the Center for Research Libraries.
