Among the most popular learning object repositories, MERLOT includes over 12,000 objects ecompassing more than fifty disciplines. Many of the contributions are peer-reviewed. The UNC System was a founding member of this initiative. Instructors using Blackboard at UNC-Chapel Hill can now search for MERLOT objects through the Blackboard interface (instructions).
